Erik Mulloy
Founder

CSO Research founder Erik Mulloy began his calling in career services automation as a student at Texas A&M University while working for the campus career center and cooperative education offices. While focused on developing software programs to simplify the university's intensive interview scheduling processes, Erik discovered a widespread need for systematic automation of career services. Answering the call, Erik created Academic Software (1stPlace!) in 1987. Under Erik's management until 1999, Academic Software grew to be the leading provider of career services automation, boasting more than 600 university clients.

In 2001, Erik identified a need in the market for a systems provider that not only focused on effective career services automation, but also the priorities and needs of career services and student employee professionals. Erik founded CSO Research to meet this need. A powerful combination of career services experts, top-notch developers and technical business consultants, CSO Research has become a leading provider of “next generation” automated career center solutions.

Today Erik continues his passion by representing CSO as a career services advocate, traveling the country gathering customer feedback and input to improve CSO's systems, furthering his hands-on, personal commitment to provide solutions that solve real problems for career services professionals.



Jason Lanham
President

Jason Lanham leads the operations of CSO Research, Inc. as President from his office in California. Prior to working in the high tech industry, Jason pursued a career in theater, performing on the stages throughout New York City. After coming to Austin in the 1990's, Jason worked with CSO founder, Erik Mulloy at Academic Software. He started working in tech support and was quickly promoted to product manager. There he gained the foundation he works from today for guiding product development, services and sales, and marketing. In 2001, Jason teamed up with Erik Mulloy once again to build a smaller, more dynamic organization, CSO Research, Inc. Jason is excited to work with CSO and the academic market to build comprehensive and innovative solutions and guide the best-in-class services organization for the career services, cooperative education and student employment communities.

When Jason isn't working (which isn't very often as many of you know) he spends his spare time frequenting the tennis courts of the greater Los Angeles area.



Peter Hoffman
Chief Financial Officer

Peter Hoffman, CSO's Chief Financial Officer, has managed the company's finances and operations since joining CSO in January 2004. Pete also is active member of the sales team.

Peter advanced his career in finance and operations working with a range of companies in the fields of domestic and international computer manufacturing, product development and services. Peter was the CFO of Academic Software in 1998-1999. Peter has held senior positions at Corning Inc, Control Data, Drake Training & Technologies, Advanced System Integration, and several startup technology companies. During the late 1980's, Peter was the Vice President for Control Data's Plato Learning Systems.

Peter has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.



Karla Gonzalez
Office Manager

Karla joined CSO in May 2009 as the Office Manager. In her position, she provides assistance to the Chief Financial Officer and administrative support to the CSO team. Her responsibilities include invoices, contracts, accounts receivable, and reporting and analysis. She comes to us with a background in the medical billing field and has extensive financial, administrative and accounting experience in Texas and Florida.

She began her studies at the University of Texas at El Paso and plans to complete them here in Austin.



Veronica "Ronnie" Ortega Nuñez
Director of Sales

Veronica brings an extensive knowledge of Interfase, as well career services expertise, to the CSO sales team. She joined CSO in 2003, after over seven years as a Recruiting Coordinator with Career Services at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Upon joining the CSO team, she used her knowledge of Interfase and her years of experience in recruiting and employer relations to help her excel in training and assisting clients. She now draws on her experience, coupled with her passion for helping people, to educate prospective clients about the benefits of CSO's solutions.



Lisa Christensen
Sales Account Executive

Lisa joined CSO in 2007 and provides consultative services to new and existing clients, while managing a variety of projects within CSO.

During her years as an Assistant Director of Career Services at the University of Utah she worked with students, supervised the on-campus recruiting office, presented workshops, managed and coordinated career events, and performed employer outreach. Additionally, she served on the Board of Directors of both MPACE (Mountain Pacific Association of Colleges and Employers) and the former RMACE (Rocky Mountain Association of Colleges and Employers) as well as on numerous committees in regional and national organizations such as NACE, SWACE and CEIA.

Lisa uses her extensive career services background to help clients maximize system functionality and to identify innovative solutions to further the development of CSO's products.



Chris Offield
Sales Account Executive

Chris has been with CSO since May 2008. As a Client Relations Manager, he guided new clients in the implementation of their Interfase sites, presented trainings and consultations for all clients, and provided training and setup assistance for the Check-In module. Chris recently transitioned to the Sales team, and looks forward to using his experiences as a Client Relations Manager in his new role. Chris served in the Navy for 11 years, and after leaving the service, gained valuable experience in higher education working in the Admissions Departments of private colleges in the Austin area. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas State University.



Leticia Luna
Sales and Marketing Intern

Leticia joined the CSO team in 2010 as the Sales and Marketing Intern. She provides assistance to the Sales team as well as introduce our solutions, specifically Co-op/Intern, to leads and prospects. Leticia grew up in Houston, Texas. She is currently a senior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in International Relations and Global Studies, specializing in culture, with a Minor in European Studies. As an intern, Leticia looks forward to using her perspective as a student in presenting CSO’s solutions to institutions that provide guidance to their students into the globalized job market.



Jean McCoy
Director of Client Services

Jean has been an integral part of CSO's team since 2002. She provides in-depth training and high-level consultative services to clients, manages the Services team, and provides technical assistance to clients. She also works closely with our development team to assure that client feedback and ideas are integrated in each upgrade. Jean's expertise in the field comes not only from her years with CSO, but from her four years of experience at Academic Software where she coordinated client training sessions and helped clients install and set up their software.

Jean graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Management Information Systems.



Katrina Garza
Director of Training/Senior Client Relations Manager

Katrina has been with CSO since 2004, and works with clients to help them maximize the use of their CSO solutions. Before joining CSO, Katrina worked at the University of Texas Center for Reading and Language Arts as a Research Associate, focusing her efforts on the quality of education received at the primary level. Her experience in the career services industry began while attending the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she worked at UTSA's Career Services Office for five years. She gained valuable insight as she advanced and worked in all areas of the Career Center, including supervising and coordinating projects for on-campus interviewing, workshops, and career events.

Katrina graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a double concentration in Public Relations and Technical Communications, and a minor in General Business from the University of Texas at San Antonio.



Bryan Furler
Associate Director of Client Relations Managers

As an Associate Director of Client Relations Managers on the Services Team, Bryan trains clients to use the system, provides consultative services to enhance clients' use of Interfase, and assists with training and setup of the Check-In module. Bryan joined CSO in 2007 and brings a wealth of experience in the area of career services. While attending Texas State University-San Marcos, he worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Career Services Office and helped coordinate eight career fairs each year. Before beginning his master's program, he gained three years of valuable experience as an HR Recruiter for a major hospital chain in central Texas.

Bryan received his Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance with an emphasis in Student Affairs from Texas State University-San Marcos and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Communications from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.



Rachel Sessions
Client Relations Manager

Rachel works with the Services Team as an Client Relations Manager. She began with CSO in 2008 and assists clients in the implementation of their Interfase sites and helps offices with their day-to-day needs to maximize the use of Interfase. While attending St. Edward's University Rachel participated in the Student Ambassador organization where she assisted high school students with their university decision-making process by educating them about the university community. Rachel was also chosen by faculty members to be a member of the Communication honor society Lambda Pi Eta.

Rachel grew up in the Austin area and graduated from St. Edward's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Concentration in Communication and Culture in August 2008 with the distinction Magna Cum Laude.



Bobbi Parmiter
Client Relations Manager

Bobbi joined CSO in 2008 and works with the Services Team as an Client Relations Manager. She assists clients with support questions, emails clients about CSO updates and helps clients to implement their Interfase systems. Before joining CSO, Bobbi gained valuable experience working in Career Services at The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.

Bobbi grew up in Southeast Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communication.



Jillian Anthony
Junior Client Relations Manager

Jillian began working with CSO in 2009 and is very excited to be a part of the company. She works as a Junior Client Relations Manager, assisting clients, answering questions and addressing concerns with their Interfase systems.

She started with CSO after graduating from Baylor University after double majoring in Psychology and History. While attending Baylor, Jillian was a member of the Varsity Equestrian Team, the History honors society (Phi Alpha Theta), and the Psychology honors society (Psi Chi).



Theresa McClory
Lead Client Relations Specialist

Theresa joined the CSO Services Team in 2010 as a Client Relations Specialist. In this position, she assists clients with their Interfase systems and helps resolve any issues or concerns they may face.

Before joining CSO, Theresa attended St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, where she received her B.A. in Communication with the distinction Magna Cum Laude. In addition to maintaining a focused academic career, she was an active figure on St. Edward’s campus as a Resident Assistant. As a Resident Assistant, she provided support and guidance to over 300 of the university’s on-campus residents.



Linda Rodriquez
Client Relations Associate

Linda joined the CSO support team in September of 2011 as a Client Relations Associate, assisting clients with CSO products. She is fluent in Spanish, and provides English/Spanish translation services for the company.

Before joining our team, Linda graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a double major in Public Relations and Spanish (Hispanic Studies) with a certificate in Business Foundations. As an undergraduate, she gained valuable leadership and mentoring skills in her roles as both Vice President and Peer Mentor of the UT Chapter of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.



Mona Rebugio
Client Relations Associate

Mona joined CSO in 2011 as a Client Relations Associate, providing assistance to clients with their Interfase systems to allow streamlined use of CSO’s products.

Prior to joining the CSO team, Mona attended The University of Texas at Austin where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies with a focus on Human Relations and Business. While in school, Mona served on the executive board of the Texas Lassos Service Organization, managed research projects for the Department of Psychology, and served as a Peer Advisor mentoring university students about academics and collegiate life. Mona is very excited to join the CSO team and looks forward to her future with the company.



Tracy Owen
Trainer

Tracy works with our Services Team as a Trainer. She began with CSO in 2008 and assists clients with questions and concerns, updates the support database, and creates training videos for new and existing clients.

Tracy is currently a student at the University of Colorado at Denver, majoring Human Resource Management and Business Administration. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa (an honor society) and Phi Chi Theta (a national business fraternity for students in business and economics). She volunteers with various animal rights organizations and health and wellness organizations.



Ann Killebrew
Technical Specialist, Client Services

Ann Killebrew has been with CSO since 2005, and is the Services Team's Technical Specialist. She works with the Services Team to manage and update client data, assist with reporting, and transition client data from their old system into Interfase. She brings a wealth of experience to CSO in the area of career services. While attending Texas State University-San Marcos, Ann worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Career Services Office and helped coordinate eight career fairs each year.

Ann graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and then attended Texas State University-San Marcos, where she received her Masters of Education in Counseling and Guidance with an emphasis in Student Affairs.



Candace McCoy
Technical Associate, Client Services

Candace joined CSO in 2008 and currently works as a Technical Associate. She provides client support for Interfase, Folio 21, and other CSO products.

She also performs various tasks such as editing the CSO website, performing credit card lookups, and updating Interfase banners.
